Jaw Crusher
- Load type: High radial load, moderate axial load
- Recommended series: 223, 241 series
- Note: Brass cage (CA) recommended for shock load resistance. C4 clearance for interference fit on eccentric shaft.
Cone Crusher
- Load type: High thrust + radial combined load
- Recommended series: 223, 230 series
- Note: Requires high axial load capacity. CA brass cage and W33 oil groove for regular re-greasing.
Impact Crusher
- Load type: Heavy shock load, high vibration
- Recommended series: 222, 223 series
- Note: Carburized steel option available for extreme impact. C3/C4 clearance for thermal expansion.
Hammer Crusher
- Load type: High vibration, moderate radial load
- Recommended series: 222 series
- Note: Self-aligning design compensates for shaft deflection. W33 for periodic lubrication.

For jaw crushers we recommend 223 series (e.g., 22314CA/W33, 22316CA/W33) and 241 series (e.g., 24124CA/W33) spherical roller bearings. These have high radial load capacity and the self-aligning feature compensates for shaft deflection under heavy crushing loads. CA brass cage is preferred for durability under shock loads.
How often should crusher bearings be replaced?▾
Crusher bearing life depends on operating conditions, load, contamination, and lubrication. With proper maintenance and regular re-greasing through W33 oil groove, crusher bearings typically last 1-3 years in aggregate applications. We recommend keeping spare bearings on site to minimize downtime during replacement.
What clearance should I use for crusher bearings?▾
For crusher applications we recommend C3 or C4 radial internal clearance. C3 is suitable for standard crusher applications. C4 provides extra clearance for high temperature operation and heavy interference fits on the shaft. Always check the OEM manual for the crusher's specified bearing clearance.
